All social security and welfare fund pension beneficiaries who have been sanctioned a pension up to December 31, 2025, must complete the mustering process via an Akshaya Centre between July 17 and October 31, 2026.
A review meeting for Project Beacon Town was held.

Panchayat President Mr. Suresh Babu Master inaugurated the review meeting regarding the 'Beacon Town' project being implemented in Maloor Grama Panchayat. Panchayat Vice President Smt. Ramyasree Prajith presided over the meeting.

Standing Committee Chairpersons Mr. K. K. Raveendran and Ms. Reshma Sajeevan, Ward Members Ms. Shiny Sasindran and Mr. A. Jayarajan, Assistant Secretary Mr. Sadiq, and Planning Committee Vice-Chairman Mr. Kunhikrishnan Master spoke at the event. Representatives of the merchant and industrial communities, as well as representatives from various political parties, participated in the meeting and shared their views.

The second mega cleanup drive, organized as part of the first phase of 'Project Beacon Town', will take place on the morning of September 27, 2026. Mattannur MLA Shri V. K. Sanoj will inaugurate the event.
