Govt. Veterinary Dispensary, Maloor
Veterinary Dispensary (Veterinary Hospital) is a government institution that provides primary health care and treatment to domestic animals and livestock at the local government level. Such dispensaries are functioning in all gram panchayats and municipalities under the Kerala Animal Husbandry Department.
Main services
- Diagnosis and Treatment : OP treatment and medicine distribution for animals like cows, goats, chickens, dogs, cats etc.
- Immunizations : Vaccination against deadly diseases such as rabies, distemper, and distemper.
- Artificial Insemination : Artificial insemination and pregnancy testing to increase productivity in livestock.
- Government schemes : Coordination of calf rearing schemes, subsidised fodder cultivation promotion, and livestock insurance.
- Awareness : Farmers are provided with necessary guidelines and training on scientific animal husbandry.

On regular days, from 9 am to 1 pm and from 2 pm to 3 pm
Sundays from 9 am to 12 noon
On other holidays from 9 am to 1 pm
